We offer a variety of services from guided group meditations and yoga, to group fitness and therapeutic facials, massage and bodywork.

To support you on the journey to a fit mind, body and spirit, we are happy to provide consultation to determine individualized classes and services for you and your family. Elizabeth, founder of ONE Wellness, is available for free 15-minute coaching sessions as a certified health coach and meditation instructor.

I’ve never meditated before, what class should I start with?

Self Compassion, Finding Peace, and Calmness are great places to start.

why should I meditate?

The benefits of mindfulness practice like meditation are extensive and the list continues to grow. Studies have proven its effectiveness in decreasing pain, ADHD, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, addiction and disease; while increasing, attention, peace, joy, and overall wellbeing.  

can I meditate at home?

Please do! At-home practice is the perfect compliment to our guided group meditations.

what if I'm bad at it?

Like all skill sets, it will get easier with time. That being said, everyone has the ability to meditate. Our instructors are trained to guide you through the process of meditation so that you don't feel lost or confused. Meditation is something that you have to experience to understand, but in our books, no one is bad at meditation!

elizabeth's story

Elizabeth's wellness journey began over 4 years ago when she made the decision to stop drinking and start meditating.  Since then, Elizabeth experienced a transformation of self that years of healthy diet and competitive athletics, as well as therapy and medication, could not provide. ONE Wellness provides a means for Elizabeth to help others overcome their own battles with anxiety, depression, addiction and perfectionism.  ONE Wellness is an open space to find strength in community to meet life’s challenges and pursue a more balanced lifestyle.

In addition to creating ONE Wellness, Elizabeth has been able to share her experience by practicing meditation with her own children and by teaching private and group mindfulness classes to both children and adults.  Elizabeth has created a mindfulness curriculum: (introduction to mindfulness and its applications for stress management, cultivation of self-compassion and inner peace). She has taught classes, led faculty workshops and presented to the community on mindfulness, including St Catherine’s, St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Capital One’s Forum for Future Leaders, Styles Group Fitness and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond.

Studio FAQ

 

Who goes to one wellness?

Everyone is welcome at ONE Wellness to take both our studio classes and to use our wellness practitioner services. We offer drop-in rates for our classes as well as discounted class packages. Appointments for skin care facials or body therapy may be made online or by contacting the practitioners directly.

How will I register for classes?

Registration can be done online through the One Wellness website using our MINDBODY portal. Register here.  In order to be guaranteed a class slot you must register and reserve your spot in advance. We can only accommodate walk-ins as available space permits.

HOW DO I CHECK-IN FOR MY CLASS?

Simply scan your One Wellness ID card. If this is your FIRST class we ask that you allow extra time to have your card issued and profile picture taken.

 WHAT SHOULD I DO FOR MY FIRST CLASS?

  • Arrive 10-15 minutes before class

  • Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothes

  • Attend class in bare feet or socks

  • Silence your cell phones

  • Communicate any special needs or concerns to the instructor

 

Where do I store my personal items?

One Wellness offers cubbies to store your personal items while you are in our studio.  One Wellness is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.  We recommend that valuables are not left unattended while you are in class.  

 

 

What if I’m late to class or a no show?

Drop-ins will not be reimbursed for a class if you are late or a no show.

 

Is there a Lost and Found?

Yes!  If you have left something behind please check with our front desk.  One Wellness will hold onto left behind items for up to 30 days.  Our Lost & but-not-Founds are donated to local charity.

What if I need to return a retail purchase?

  • Item must be unused and in original packaging.

  • If the item is returned within 10 days of the purchase date One Wellness will make a fair exchange or issue credit.

How will I be notified if classes are canceled due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances?

All members will receive an email or phone call regarding cancellations or closure due to inclement weather, poor road conditions, or other extenuating circumstances.  Reservations can be modified to another day and time without penalty.

 

What if I want to cancel my class reservation?

If you have reserved a spot for a class and need to cancel, One Wellness requires you to cancel your reservation no less than 2 hours prior to avoid penalty.  You can cancel through the website through the MINDBODY portal.
