Elizabeth's series & Workshops
Elizabeth Krusen is the founder of One Wellness, a center for the mind, body, and spirit. One Wellness provides a means for Elizabeth to make her personal story of transformation universal. Her spiritual journey began over four years ago when she made the decision to stop drinking and start meditating. Through One Wellness, Elizabeth has channeled her own experience with perfectionism, anxiety, and addiction to enable others to manage stress, develop self-compassion, and find inner peace and joy. Today, One Wellness serves as an open space to find strength in community to meet life’s challenges and manifest our authentic selves.
Elizabeth graduated from Princeton University where she studied French art and literature and played tennis. She earned master’s degrees from Bank Street College of Education in childhood education and The Harvard Graduate School of Education in language and literacy, with certification as a reading specialist. She is a certified health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. In addition, she has completed courses in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness-Based Self Compassion (MBSC), as well as attended numerous meditation retreats and classes.
Elizabeth’s greatest joy is practicing meditation with her own children, as well as teaching private and group mindfulness classes to both children and adults. She has created a mindfulness curriculum which shares a variety of mindfulness applications for stress management and cultivation of self-compassion and inner peace. She has also taught classes, led faculty workshops, and regularly serves as a keynote speaker.
Elizabeth grew up in New York City and now lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband, Will; three young children, Lilly, Bennett, and Eloise; and two dogs, Cinder and Hudson.
